ABOUT MENSHO
What is the origin of the name “MENSHO”?

MENSHO traces its roots to the ramen shop “Menya Shono,” founded in 2005. The company name originally combined the characters for “noodles” (麺) and “Shono” (庄), becoming “Mensho Co., Ltd.” As overseas expansion progressed, the brand name “MENSHO” was adopted for global recognition. Over time, MENSHO evolved from a store name into a symbol representing the entire company. In 2025, on the occasion of the company’s 20th anniversary, the corporate name was officially changed to MENSHO Co., Ltd., reflecting the desire to build a company created by the entire team and to further deliver Japanese ramen culture to the world.
